An overview of our services for accountants
Although we provide professional services direct
to charity clients, we do not feel we are in competition
with other professionals. Our services can complement
and assist other firms who may not have charity expertise,
but who want to ensure that their clients get the
best possible advice.
We will always respect the professional relationship
that exists between our fellow professionals and their
clients, and if we are consulted by another firm,
we will never contact their client directly, unless
everybody agrees that is the best course. Our contractual
relationships can be with either the client or the
accountancy firm, whichever the firm prefers.
Of course, if the work is of an audit nature then
different considerations may apply.
We can advise and assist other firms on:
- A range of technical matters related to charities
- Record keeping to meet with the requirements
of the SORP
- Accounts production issues
- Charity taxation and VAT
- Charity formations and registrations
We can undertake accounts production work on a subcontract
basis, and can undertake audits, investigations and
special reports, either where the accountancy firm
is not a registered auditor, or where the firm feels
that a specialist approach is required. We can also
assist audit firms who wish to ‘buy in’
the expertise.
As with all our services, our fees are highly competitive.
Our offices are set in a rural location, and therefore
we have low premises overheads. This means that we
are able to offer the highest quality services, very
often at the lowest price.
